This page is of, well, duh, pictures of the fleet at countryliner at the momento. this page covers mainly the enthusiasts side of the company, not the technical side. see the main website for the technical side. Most of the pictures on this site are from the main countryliner website, and i am sorry for the out-of-date picture of H107JAR

h107jar2.jpg

This coach, H107 JAR, was aquired second hand from Colchester in 1993. It is currently operating in a red livery. On board are 49 seats, a drink machine thing, 2 tables, and loads of other cool stuff including a panda bin As promised, i got an up to date picture.

This coach is currently off the road, having extensive bodywork reparations made.

t863jbc.jpg

T863JBC is an Iveco EuroRider 35, with a beulas stergo-e body. It is a cool bus, but why oh why is it pink? it has nice seats, 51 of them, and was bought new in the year of the Ts

oyd693.jpg

i think that this is OYD693, formerly F618HGO. aquired from London Coaches in 1997, soon to be resprayed in the companys new livery. Fleet number is DFC1.

e89ojt.jpg

yet another out-of-date picture. sorry sorry sorry, but i dont have up-to-date ones yet. This is E89OJT, at victoria coach station in 1991. It is in a very very old livery. Aquired from Shamrock and rambler in 1989, it and 2 other coaches, also leyland tigers with plaxton paramount 3200 III bodys, have been appropriately fleetnumbered: SR88, 89, and 90.

SR88, E88OJT. For some reason this coach was painted orange. Seen furthest from the camera, this picture in this size does not give any of these coaches any justice.  Also in this picture are: E89OJT, H107 JAR, and M875 NWK.

TC426, or HBH 426Y, is the Oldest coach in the fleet. it was aquired when Blue salloon coaches (ABC TAXIS) in guildford was taken over by London and Country.  It was added to the fleet in 1996, and was resprayed in 2000, into an all-over white livery. it has since had the green strip added, and is now awaiting new vinyls.

DD1,2,3, and 4. I do not know which of these is which, as i have very little knowledge of them. However, they were aqquired in the late 90's

In the large picture on the right, buses, listed from left are:  Daf Vanhool OYD 693 ( DFC1),  Volvo B10M Ikarus H107 JAR (25107),  Mercedes Minibus,  Daf Vanhool F619 HGO (DFC 2),  Just visible behind Tango (the orange bus) are:  K30 TCC, a kassbohrer setra, and B274 KPF (TP74), a Leyland Tiger with Plaxton Paramount bodywork.  Also visible at the very back, is the top of a bristol VR.  SR 88, E88 OJT, is the orange bus (tango), which is another Tiger, Paramount.  2 Bristol VRs then follow, with HBH 426Y (TC426) being a 3rd Plaxton Paramount with tiger chassis.  Just visible at the far right of the picture, is Iveco Beulas T863 JBC

This picture was also taken at the depot, and is further along from the previous.  The 2 bristol VRs are visible at the far left. More clearly visible are HBH 426Y,  and T863 JBC.  in the sunlight is SR 89, E89 OJT, a fourth Tiger Paramount.  Behind that is the Mercedes 0404, Hispano vita BU 51 FXE  (MC1).  To the far right,  slightly obscured by the office pillar, is B288 KPF, a now departed Plaxton Paramount, Leyland Tiger.  Believed now to be with Edward Thomas and son.

bu51fxe.jpg

Merc 0404 delivered from coventry in september 2001.Very nice coach. BU51FXE, delivered in blue colours (why you may ask) ? it was bought new, one of only 2 bought new since independance from london and country.

e90ojt.jpg

Another of the 3 tiger/plaxtons, SR90 seen in kingston in 1992.  This picture was taken from Ken Lansdown's archives.  SR90 was the first coach to be painted into the new livery, of fluorescant green strip, with a dark green swoosh logo.

K30 TCC is a Setra coach, bought second hand in 2001, to replace MIW 2425, another DAF MB230, DFC4.  It was bought from Cumbria Coaches, and currently carries half of their livery, the other half being applied by countryliner

b274kpf.jpg

B274KPF, or TP74, is a 1985 Leyland Tiger with plaxton paramount 2 express door bodywork. Bought new, it served with green line, and is now one of only 2 paramounts left with countryliner. It is currently being resprayed into the new livery.

The new (i say new, but it is second hand) LAG coach. With a DAF engine, this coach is being restored now.  Bought in late 2001, this coach, if all deadlines are met, should be on the road hopefully by june/july 2002.
